I have tried, but never had much luck with meats from walmart or sam's for comps. Find the better stuff and you'll be happier. Scrape the back side of that skin paper thin!

Goona do a batch of thighs tomorrow on the drum for the races this weekend!

Nice big thighs. The last batch I bought was rather small. Looks great man!!

I've not bought thighs at Sam's. Did they come boneless already or did you cook 'em bone in?

Gotta' say though, the chicken thighs look beautiful, I mean just great. Really like the idea of smokin' 'em up nice, then finishing them on the hot grill for some crisp. I might do that on my batch of thighs tomorrow.
