Chicken and ABT's in the MES

Made some chicken and ABT's tonight in the new smoker.  These are the el cheapo hind quarters from Wal-Mart for about 79 cents a pound.

Injected the chicken with cajun butter and seasoned outside with salt, pepper, and garlic.  Smoked with apple wood.

ABT's are filled with pulled pork and cream cheese. 

These along with a glass of black raspberry wine make for a fine evening.

Use a MES 40 and smoked with apple wood.

The chicken was a little on the salty side.  My daughter was helping and got a little carried away with the salt by the taste of it.  Not too bad, though.
