What a great score!!!
Did you have to check your eyes and look twice because that is great, sucks for them but score for you.

I was stunned.I figure what goes around has come around so i am not going to worry about it.The young kid at check out didnt notice a bit.

I get so tired of telling the cashiers that things like red apples are on sale and they ring up a higher yellow apple price etc...

They had two packs. The other pack was normal price.

I Did browse the whole meat department though

HAHAHAHA just kiddin'

What probably happened was some one was trying to punch numbers into the scale too fast and missed some. It does happen. When a customer is honest and brings something like this to my attention at my meat department I will offer it back to them at that price as a reward for being an honest and thoughtful person. I'll say "It looks like our mistake is your good fourtune! Enjoy!"

Most often people are real happy and will take it. Some people think you are trying to set them up or something, and won't take it. Us lowly service workers are human ,and do make mistakes, so for us its nice when a customer shows us some respect by trying to help us out.

Thats a great deal there. Oh well hows knows how that happened but at least you found it.

I think i will take the price tag back up.This store has really gone down in service and my moms dad was a grocer/butcher/farmer and i am now a little torn over the deal....I have a rather large garden etc. and didnt think about the otherside of equation as far as work etc...

WOWZER!!!!

That IS A DEAL. I thought I made some good scores, hell there goes my reputation.

You are the king.

I must be getting old cause I do remember getting a side of beef for $0.22 a pound cut and wrapped. There was also a time when the butcher would give out free liver & organ meats and all the Soup bones you could carry home with you, even supplying the box to pack them in. But 5cents a pound for steak cut and wrapped man that is a bargain for sure.
