I really don't hear about to many people using them.I found a 20lb bag of PB pellets for 7.99 so I figured why not.

My first go at using them will be tonight with a 4lb brisket flat with spog. Will be using the MES.

I've tested them both whole and ground in the tube w/u-bolt mod.Whole even with the mod was pretty damn smoky but ground gave out pretty decent slow smoke.I don't think I'll do the entire smoke with them as its got a good strong smell when burning, might do apple for the 2nd tube.

Will post results tomorrow here and in the beef section.

Go Pats.

pb pellets(hickory) are the only ones I use in my pellet smoker and tube, and the tray with mes 30, they work good me and for at 1/2 the cost of other brands.

Norm I was down in RI last week looking in Wallmart but they didn't have them.Mind sharing where you got them PM if need be Thanks Richie

I was at Newport Walmart today and they had many bags for the standard $8.88 which is still a great price.

Hickory and apple for me.Right price and just down the road.

yeah, I just order them out of walmart or amazon, free shipping, can't beat the price, they just might be a little dustier then the higher priced ones. nothing a screen can't handle.

Fired up the MES around midnite Sat.

Spog on the brisket. No wrap cooked thru open.Pulled at 198IT,tenderness and flavor were great but a little on the drier side than I would've liked and that could very well be as it came as is in the first pic,not much fat.But overall pretty decent, actually the flavor was awesome,I like this blend.

Beans topped with bacon and freshly picked apple slices went in for the final three hours.A very small pinch of each cinnamon and allspice. That was damn tasty.

Also wings done in the airfryer for the very first time.I am now an airfryer convert.
