So I know that the silver smoker doesn't necessarily need mods to smoke meats. But I know they increase its performance. My main question is which mods would be better to preform first and which ones aren't as important?

I think a charcoal basket and a tuning plate that covers some of the fire box to cooker opening are pretty high on the list.  This will give you a long cook and more even temps across the cooking grate.

Ok thank you I'll defiantly try those out. Actually just firing it up to do some bologna and
ork loins right now
