Hello I'm in the u.k and looking to purchase a char-broil Highland offset smoker either used or new condition. See there are plenty for sale in America but none I can find in the u.k.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! Check out char-broils site. Not familiar with UK big box stores but here in the states these are fairly common at Lowe’s or Academy sports. Reach out to char broil they will most likely be able to help.

Good luck on the search!!

Hi thanks for the reply. I sent an email to their e.u / u.k site and they have replied. Unfortunately they said they are not expecting a shipment until early next year. Just hoping someone in the u.k have one.

I hope this isn't a thread jack, but rather related to the original topic. OP is looking for a Char-broil brand smoker, and I've also been looking at their products recently, but don't know much about them.
Is Char-Broil a good brand? I am looking to upgrade my, err, fairly basic smoking facilities, and there's a shop near me that sells a few Char-broil smokers. I'm thinking of buying one of their kettle-type smoker/grills, but Weber smokers seem to be more popular on this site. Problem is, Weber smokers are harder to get hold of where I am, but not impossible.
Anyone here have good/bad experience with Char-broil smokers.

I have to Oklahoma Joe Highland(made by charbroil) and love it. It’s a great starter offset and good quality for the price. If you are looking for a kettle type grill I would go with a Weber Kettle. They are very versatile. If you can’t get Weber I don’t have much experience with a charbroil kettle but read reviews on amazon or the web.
