Cedar smokehouse construction

hello just saw this via my wife. been looking a round for the bill of materials and the finished dimensions. also would it be a bad thing to use standard construction lumber rather than cedar or would it be bad for the meat. all help is greatly appreciated. I have lots to learn.

Regular lumber will work. Just don't use anything treated.
