Almost forgot.  I want to also try mirror cooking with cast iron.  Today I learned how to cook a grill cheese sandwich.  I must have watched this ten time:)

 
Lodge Black iron is made in America. Lodge enameled cast iron is made in china.

I'm surprised the sun could heat that up with all that shade under the canopy. I don't think it was the sun heat at all. If you look in the background, someone is cooking a grilled cheese sandwich.

LOL. I tried looking for this but something just kept distracting me............must have been the grilled cheese how too

Martin I use one of those green scouring pads along with a re-season touch up now and then and I'll take cast iron over teflon any day.
