Hey guys, I need some help.
I'm looking for a casserole dish w/lid that I can use for sides. I would like to use it on a charcoal or gas grill. I'm looking for something that's easier to clean than CI. 2qrt porcelain coated is what l'm thinking. I don't need to feed an army, eight servings at the most. Lodge has a nice one that I'm looking at. Any other suggestions?
Let me know what you like and thanks a pant load!

Cheap foil pans work great and are disposable rather than needing to clean them. Another option I use in the grill are chafing dish pans. They wash easily and will last a lifetime and are also inexpensive. I use foil if I need a cover or lid.
This X10!!!!
I buy a stack of each size Costco sells, and they last me almost a year.
I also use these cheap food service pans that I buy from a local restaurant supply for $6 to $8.00 each, they are made out of stainless steel and come in a bunch of sizes. And they scrub up nicely using an S.S. Brillo pad or an S.O.S. pad and some Comet cleanser. I actually like them much better than the cheap foil pans because the transport much better.

I use the foil pans as well.. that way I can leave it at the neighbors and not have to worry about retrieving a dish nor do I have to worry about cleaning them.

I've had good results with various Pyrex baking dishes since I've moved away from aluminum and porcelain. You just got to remember not to expose Pyrex to thermal shock.

Also look at garage sales and such... many good pans can be picked up for cheap and not have to worry about wife getting upset for putting her good pans in the smoker. I've bought many just because they were too good to pass up, plus can always find other uses for them

Thanks guys, has anyone used this one? I do like the foil pan option though. That is probably what I will be doing for now but I would rather wash than throw away long term.
