Casing shrinking on snack sticks ??

I am on my second batch of snack sticks on my smoker and have noticed that the casing are getting shribbled up and not smooth . What causes this ?? Bob

How are you smoking them?  What temperatures are you running at and how do you treat them after removing them from the smoker?

Maybe you're not stuffing them tight enough? It's a fine line, I know...

What kind of csg are you using? They may be understuffed. What kind of sausage, And how long are you soaking?
