I remember the first one I did. Did the corn meal thing and when went to slide in oven it all slid together, bottom stuck and top slide down. Boy that was a messed up pizza. Now its paper than remove way.use some corn meal on my peel to make it slide better.

Same was happening to use, we then reached in and slid out the 500 deg stone and built on the stone, even with long BBQ gloves the heat was wicked. I will have to try the parchment/foil method next. Do you cook it the entire time on the paper/foil? When my wood oven gets going the pies are done in under 5 minutes.I remember the first one I did.
