Can you sear on a MAK1?

Does the Mak1 have a setting or plate/grill configuration where you can sear a steak?

Not sure about the MAK1 but my MAK90 will sear nicely after exhausting the 75rd drum.

Yes if you purchase the $375 Flame Zone which is standard on the 2 Star. Better off just buying a Weber Kettle and using it for searing but I like cooking steaks and burgers on the kettle and sometimes when doing reverse sears I'll finish something off on a screaming hot cast iron griddle or skillet, which is another option.
