Hey everyone. I have just bought the Char-broil 3in1 smoker “the big easy”. Does anyone know if you can achieve low n slow method of smoking with it? Failing that, any good tasty smoked meat recipes for a complete beginner at smoking?

many thanks.

While I don't have one, I've read that many owners are a bit disappointed in the "smoking" ability. That said, I would think with the use of an A-maze-n Tube or tray and dialing the temp down as much as possible you could achieve good results and smoke flavor.

There are tons of recipes on the site here. I would recommend starting with something simple (and cheap) like chicken or maybe pork butt and see how it works.

I guess it depends on what you consider "low". Some folks swear by cooking at 225. I cook at 260 to 280.
Why don't you fire it up, toss a rack of ribs on it and see where it likes to run?
