Can I freeze my Jerky meat after it has been soaking in spices?

My auberins just died and I have 8 lbs of jerky meat soaking in the fridge. Can I put it in the freezer until I get the controller issue fixed?  Yes it has pink cure #1 in it already. It's going to be at least a week to get controller fixed. Does anyone know of a great plug and play PID unit that doesn't need to be fixed twice a year? Oh I'm just cranky!
