Hi I'm from CT and new to the site; already have picked up some great info, thanks. I ran to Cabela's and picked up a masterbuilt 30 just before Christmas hoping to use it Friday. After three feet of snow in one storm last year Im hoping to retire to SC in a few years taking my smoker with me (and the ball and chain of course)!

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

Welcome aboard!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
