Last one was a success, trying another today. Injected brisket this time just to try it. Beef broth with a little rub added. It was my first time injecting and made a little bit of a mess at the beginning but when I got familiar with it things were fine.

Hope it goes well for you. Did you put rub on the outside also? Or just let the injection flavor the outside?
 
I put rub on the outside and let it sit over night. Injected just before I put it on. 
 
It was great. I didn't get any finished pictures because I took it to a party which I was running late for. It only lasted about 15 minutes. Everyone liked it.
 
I smoked it for approximately 6 hours. Did not need to wrap since it was only a 6lb brisket.
