So I did my first brisket the other day. Once it was done I took it off, wrapped it in towels, and put it in a cooler. The meat was okay, but I think I know where I made my errors. However, the towels I used to wrap in the cooler were clean bath towels. I don't waste so I used one of the towels to dry myself after a shower today. I smelled like smoky brisket all day long. I highly recommend this method.

That's just genius! The smell of a smokey pit is fantastic. But..... you probably attracted every fat guy within smelling distance all day long.

There is a reason this painting was made in 1958 by Gil Elvgren
