Brisket it is!

So, I didn't know what was going to be on the smoker this weekend.  I knew I needed charcoal, so I went to the HD and found KBB double bags for $9.88!  I got two double bag  packs, each bag is 18.6 lbs, for less then 20 bucks!  Then I went to the Piggly Wiggly and found briskets for $2.99 lb!  I got me a 13 lb whole brisket, some fresh corn, red potatoes, and baked beans....I'm all set!

Sounds like a great plan! What day are you smoking? I'm smoking Monday-wings, shrimp, and whatever speaks to be at the store today! You doing a Qview? Love to see that nice brisket on the smoker! Have a great time smoking, and don't forget to stay hydrated! I know I will! LOL

It's going on late tonight for dinner tomorrow.  I will do a qview.  I have to work Monday, wish it wasn't so.

Brisket is resting in a cooler, put some thighs with Jeff's rub on the WSM.  Fixing to get the 22.5 grill going for some salmon, potatoes, and corn.
