Pretty new to smoking. Smoked several pork butts, ribs, and chicken with an orignal Bradley smoker.
So recently I took the plunge and bought and Auber PID controller. And wow it does a great job of keeping the temp right where I want it. But....I do have an issue.
While using the PID when the OBS reaches the set temp it completely kicks the unit off, it restarts it when it needs more heat. But in doing so it resets the puck timer. So unless I'm babysitting the OBS to manually advance a puck it will not advance pucks because the timer is continually reset.
What am I doing wrong?
