Ocean Springs, Ms.
My ribs and tenderloins were so good. I made my own rub. I also smoked some crabmeat stuffed jalapenos with cream cheese wrapped in bacon. And for good measure, I smoked an apple pie with sharp cheddar on top. (I made the pie from scratch a couple of days ago) I never knew what I was missing. My wife came home and had to make a plate to bring to maw-in-law. I think I am going to love this way of cooking. Boy howdy, I hope this MES40 holds up. If not, I'll make a smoke pit in the yard. I know this stuff is old hash to you guys, but I am so glad to be here and share this with you all.

Sounds like you're having a blast!

Smoked apple pie with sharp cheddar - that's a new one for me. Sounds really interesting & I may have to try that in the near future
