bourbon sprits

Hi everyone, 1st post and thanks for letting me be included !!!!! Just wondered if anyone has used bourbon to sprits. I know the alcohol will evaporate, just wondered about the flavor ? Does it add any ? Does it help with moisture ?? Thanks for any replies !!!!:grilling_smilie:

I've used Jim Beam and came to the conclusion I'd just leave the pit closed and drink the bourbon. Cheers!

I use bourbon to marinate salmon. I also like to add a shot or so to my garlic and onions while they are sautéing in the skillet then add them to my baked beans. Yummy.
