I was in the grocery store picking up a few things and I always cruise through the meat department to see what they have and saw this it was on sale so I figured why not. I haven't seen a bottom round with this much marbling at 6.99 a lb.
I figured cook it at 250 till I get to 120-125 and slice it up

Should make tasty rare to medium rare “deli” meat.

Man that looks pretty darned good. Should turn out great!

I just had one I broke down from a bottom round flat . Fantastic .

That's a great looking slab of meat. Going to be some great sammies in your future.

That's what I'm shooting for, we'll see if I can hit the mark

Thanks

Great looking piece of beef!
That's what I thought, I couldn't pass it up. That grocery store usually doesn't have a good selection of meat.

Will do, hopefully I can get to it for Sunday.

I'm with the others.......Rye bread, Swiss, creamy horseradish sauce and build a monster sammich!
