Hello,
Looking for a little help/guidance, I am having a party tomorrow and will be smoking for pulled pork. I have 1-8lb Boston Butt and 2- 4.5lb boneless picnic roasts. First do I start the 8lb first if I want them to be done around same time? I have never used a "bonless picnic roast" before but I am assuming it will pull fine, it is wrapped in mesh I was going to remove before smoking is or should I leave it on? Thanks for any help
will be using char-broil electric smoker

Well the butt is going to take about twice as long as the 2 smaller picnics.
I would leave the mesh on until they are smoked, otherwise they will probably fall apart.
At 225, your probably looking at 14-16 hours for the butt & half that for the picnics.
Al
