Can't take credit for the idea....I wanted something different so I asked the google machine, and it did not disappoint. I stuck pretty close to the proportions of the recipe.
Neufchatel, a salty cheddar from Murray's, and Smucker's blueberry preserves.

And a semi-clear cut shot.
Ran those on the pellet pooper till the bacon was tight and the peppers soft. Turns out these were pretty spicy peppers, but the sugar toned it nicely. If you're a bacon fan (who isn't?) and like blueberries, I'd give this a run.
