Never thought that I would see this again but a local Mkt had their Butts on sale for .99lb so I stocked up with 100lbs...

Yea thats to bad..Keep a look out in your sale papers. This is the first time they have been that low in a long time. I thought that deal was gone forever...Going to use 10lbs of them to make some Andouille real soon..

Great deal and the Andouille sounds good! I just bought a whole ribeye for $3.99 lb from a small local market. Gonna cut steaks and a nice roast.

Wow, roller, I got 2 pork butts at the comissary for $1.29/lb last week, and I thought I was doing good.  They are usually $1.59/lb.  I didn't see any others that looked good, so will check this week when I go to town.  Maybe the drought is causing farmers to sell off more of their piggies.  Take care!  Steve

Wow, all those years in the military paid off.  I also got my cheese, Kraft at $3/lb, Tillamok $3.99/2lb.  there are some benefits to military service.  Oh, pork bellies $1.09/lb.  Steve
