A friend at work got a vertical gas water smoker from Sears as a fathers day gift. He took it out for a trial run last weekend. Monday when he came in he seemed to be complaining "wow thats a lot of work " although his results sounded Ok. While out at a local bbq center he was looking at the BGE ant the Traeger Pellet Grills. The sales associate was pushing the BGE, which I am am explaining "thats more work" My thoughts are the BGE is overpriced and has a small grilling area and then he has to deal with Coal / wood chips as well as well as maintaining oven temps. If I had the $$$ Id go with the Traeger. Just my thoughts. Any opinions on this.
