This is the kind of barbecue a person dreams about finding in the Denver metro and in Colorado.

There's a lot of pretenders here who THINK they KNOW BBQ, but they don't.

Well let me tell you something...the people working at Big Belly Brothers BBQ in Aurora...THEY KNOW BBQ and it shows! It was FANTASTIC, DELICIOUS, MOUTH WATERING AND the taste was authentic and perfect.

The restaurant was clean, orderly and sanitary. The floors were swept and mopped, tables clean and all the sauce containers were clean and wiped down.

The waffle fries were perfect, delightfully seasoned and blazing hot.

The brisket was hot, tender, juicy pulled apart nicely and melted in your mouth. Perfectly flavored with a nice rub.

The chicken was hot, tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. The skin wasn't crispy but that was the only thing wrong I could find with the chicken and I'm not deducting very much for that.

The ribs were fantastic. Not fall off the bone, but came off with a little bite, very tender and juicy and tasty.

The mac n cheese was hot and very good. I loved the taste and texture.

The sampler platter for two was what I ordered. I ended up getting a to go box.

The honey bbq sauce and the jalapeño bbq sauce were AMAZING. 🤤😋

The staff was attentive, helpful and very friendly. They asked how the food was and how my experience was and that says a lot about a place when everyone cares.

I give 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ and an overall grade of 98 out of 100 or a 9.8/10 only deducting for the skin on the chicken.

I highly recommend this place to my friends, my family and to anyone reading this. This is as good as it gets in every aspect.

I'll be like the Terminator on this one: I'll Be Back. 😎

Nice review! Wish they were closer for me. It safe to say I nearly never go to the Aurora area. Just too dang far.

I want to go there in name alone!!! Kinda like the "Irish Mafia Brewing Company". It was around Rochester NY but had to go on the name alone.

Love the name. Have some friends from Aurora visiting this weekend and dont live too far from there. Will have to let them know about it. Bet they do a good bit of biz from the hospital. When did it open? It wasnt there when I lived there, at least that I never heard of it.

I don't have any idea. I know it's gotta be recent. I remember seeing they only had a food truck last year or the year before because I wanted to go try it. Then I saw their ad the other day and it said the had a sit down building to eat at. The inside looks really nice, but it is tiny. Not a lot of room in there.

I'll be on record as saying this is the ONLY review I have ever left where I gave a BBQ restaurant a score of 98 out of 100 or better.

The chicken skin was the only deduction. They did EVERYTHING ELSE right.

This is a place that gets it. In every aspect from the experience, to the customer service, cleanliness and the quality of the product served and it being HOT, TASTY AND FRESH.

I'm not sure I'll ever leave another 98 or better. I hope I get to. I love to boast and brag about a great place to eat.

Kinda, I dont like driving in the city all that much. If I make it out that way for something else I will surely check them out!
Now you have a great excuse to go over to Sam's Meats off Illiff and Chambers, then stop by Big Belly Bros BBQ. 😁

My goodness this bbq is so damn good. I went back on Sunday and I'm doubling down on my review.

This place is just phenomenal. The green chile cheddar sausage was to die for. The brisket was so tender and moist. The ribs are perfect. Beans and waffle fries were excellent.

I told them the only they could do better was to bottle their Jalapeño BBQ sauce and Honey BBQ sauce and sell it. I want to use some of that at home.

Jimminy Christmas they have some damn good Que!!!!

Love it when a place exceeds your expectations. Sounds like you found a great place. I have yet to find one of those types of places out here in CA.
Not even Rodney Scott's pop up in Oakland CA lived up to it's hype.
Thank God, now I won't be tempted to drive back there, that city scetchy as hell. I won't go without my friend Sig at arms reach.

I wish I could find a place like this, just a touch closer tho.

I will check them out if I am ever out that way. Thanks for another great review Hanna!

Not on my island! There are a few great restaurants in the North Kohala resort district, but no restaurant is worth a 140 round trip. Even generally OK restaurants are a 80 mile RT.
I am going to hit you up when we get to the big island.
We will be there in Sept. We are stay at the Hilton Wiakoloa* Village for 12 days .

We'll have to meet up for a drink, or a dinner .

Dan.

Kona brewing is or was pretty top tier.

Get that "Big Island Revealed" book for the best recommendations about everything.

You'll love it there. Many years ago, my wife's best friend got married in the Chicagoland area. We gave them their honeymoon...RT first class tix to here, 10 days at the Hilton, special amenities in their room, a round of golf for her hubby, as he is the golf pro at the home country club. They loved it and talk about it a lot even now, around 20 years later.
