In western pa in elk county ! Third bear we have seen in the yard this year ! But this is the biggest ! Last year we had a mom and three Cubs ! And three others ! Ten miles of woods behind our house ! See less deer then anything else but have seen two bucks and three does so far this year ! More then the last three years combined !

Nice looking bear neighbor! Seems that the bear population in the area is picking up from all of the sightings lately. I live just below you in Jefferson Co. and get to spend quality time at our friends camp in Bennezett.

Where at in Jefferson county? We go to bennezette often ! We ride are four wheelers in bennezette a lot in the fall nice time of year with leaves changing ! All the roads in bennezette legal for atvs

Monday morning I was sitting on our patio having coffee and at 9:30 this big guy came for a visit !

That bear is a stud for sure, it has to be a B&C or P&Y animal. I can't stand the taste of bear meat, so I most likely will never kill a bear. I'm not down with trophy hunting by any means. But if that monster was hang'in around my house, I'd send him into a deep, deep sleep in a heartbeat then donate the meat, so I could feel good about having a rug made to keep momma warm come winter time.

i have camera's on my front patio and love watching the bears walk around , most of them come around after dark
( i don't think i would like sharing my morning coffee with them tho ...lol )
