Best Cleaner for Wood Tannin Stains on Concrete?

Title says it all..

Got a new carport cover, cleaned all the crap off the carport and pressure washed it. Have some wood tannin and rust stains I'd like to clean....Advice? Go.......

Also going to fill the expansion joints with a layer of rock salt, then river sand, and finally this stuff...

Why the rock salt? Salt damages concrete over time, I'd think just sand, then the leveling sealer, would do the job.

Using the rock salt for weed control ? Not a fan of the sand . Wants to lift and drag if you're not careful . I know people do that , but don't caulk .
Is the joint to wide for foam backer ?
I've used the self leveling caulk . It can be a bit tricky to work with . It will profile whatever is in the joint , so you should try to get the base as straight or level as possible . No gaps . It will run right out even small gaps .

Try to work point to point .
It will seek low spots . Get those identified and filled first . Make a light pass the full length . It will flow find the low spots if any . Build those up close to the highest spot and let it set up .
Make one final pass the full length .

I had a gap in mine that was to big for backer . I used spray foam . Had to cut down some high spots , which was a pain .

I think I'd try Superclean and a stiff bristle brush, then pressure wash.

Not sure if it will work on rust or wood stains. Plain laundry powder will clean oil stains. Cover them good and let nature/time wash it away

Don't know about the cleaning part, but a word of caution about the self-leveling cleaner.
Wear gloves to throw away, and clothes/shoes you don't care about.
I've used that stuff before, and pretty near impossible to not get it on you.
Or maybe it's just me. Haha

What happened ? You fall down . Lol .
That's the only caulk I don't get on me .

Best cleaner for something is generally from opposite side of the pH chart. For rust (iron oxide/basic) an acid. Oxalic is common also citric (bet that Out stuff is that). For tannin (acidic) a base cleaner such as Oxy (Sodium percarb) or pool shock aka SH (sodium hypochlorite). Spot treatment followed by SH is my go to usually. Let spot treatment dwell 30m but do not let dry. PW is next level then surface cleaner attachment if necessary.

If all else fails look into Muriatic Acid. It's a diluted version of Hydrochloric and works very well for cleaning masonry. just use the recommended precautions. sold at most any hardware or big box stores.

Is the joint to wide for foam backer ?

Just measured it....gap is running 7/8"~1" wide. Too big for 3/4" backer. Do they make a larger size? I hear cutting pool noodles down into strips works....might try that.
