Best Beginner Electric Smoker

I am thinking about getting a smoker and I would like to know which electric smoker you would recommend for a beginner.  If I can, I would like to spend between $150-$200 but willing to go $300 max.

Jaybird, morning and welcome to the forum....   Below are some smokers our sponsors have for sale....  That will give you an ideas of what's out there...  Our sponsors are what helps keep this forum up and running....   The type of things you want to smoke, will decide what type of smoker you get...  I have 4 or 5 smokers, depends what you call a smoker....  each one has it's own great points.... One I have, is the smoker I use for fish.... It does fish so much better than the others.....  I am of the opinion, no smoker is perfect and does all things well....  Dave
