Been wanting to try some sweet ribs for a while with qview...

    HEB just happened to have some ribs on sale....  

    Oiled and rubbed with good rub


    Then added butter, brown sugar and honey


    Will be back in a couple when its time to wrap....

    2 hours in and about to wrap...  more butter, honey and brown sugar....


    See you in 1.5 hours....

    Looks good.  I've never seen the use of butter, brown sugar, honey until they are being wrapped. I would think lots of it would run off.

    Ok  so they were tender and well that was about it.....  I guess that is why we experiment!!!!!  So they were sweet but not really like what I wanted... I was looking for a crumbly rubby kind of sweet... this was a sweet coating... but not what my taste bud or anyone else was expecting.... So I got out my sauce put them back on the pit and sauced em down and they were really good...   Any other ideas?????
