Hi All,

I’m looking for ideas on what to cook for my little girls first birthday. The wifey wants a Moana themed party so I’m looking for some tropical themed meals. I want to throw something on the smoker but can’t think of anything besides pulled pork on Hawaiian rolls. Is there anything else I can throw on the smoker that’ll work with the theme? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Teriyaki or Hawaiian chicken comes to mind.

Marinate your Butt in pineapple and ginger for a great flavor.
1 can crushed pineapple
1C each pineapple and orange juice
large knob grated fresh ginger
1/8C each Worcestershire, soy sauces
2T fish sauce
Kosher salt

Heck yeah, X2 Teriyaki Chicken thighs smoked or grilled

Grilled green bananas and pineapples.
Basted with a honey/cinnamon glaze.
Top with crushed macadamia nuts, you can even cook the nuts in the glaze and then apply.

You could smoke an actual pig. Not sure how adventurous you are though. I like the teriyaki chicken idea grill some pineapple like Chili suggests and you are rockin it. You could grill some burgers teriyaki style and add slices of the grilled pineapple.
