BBQ guru pit viper fan dimensions

Ive emailed BBQ guruand they are of no help at all except for trying to force me to buy a 25 dollar adapter! I'm wondering what the dimensions of the end of the fan that inserts into there adapter. Basically need to know what size hole. I have pit masteriq barb adapter and I'm thinking the guru fan will fit inside

1 1/4", but it has an O-ring that probably could be changed to a bigger size, but no smaller than 1 1/4".

OK thanks .. I have a dealt hard time paying 45 for a fan and 35 for an adapter set up ... Haha ..
