I like your style.
If the HVAC tape doesn't hold up call Weber, they will sell you a new door for basically shipping if you're pleasant with the woman on the phone. Weber has always been great to deal with and why I will always recommend them to people looking for a new grill or smoker.

Thanks everyone! I used a tiller to loosen some of the ground before getting the loam today,I figure the yard will take a few weeks to be completed for this year.
