I was wondering if it is necessary to wrap each rack or would it work if you just put the ribs in a pan and covered with foil and put them in a 225 oven for and hr. Then take them out and put them back in the smoker to glaze.

I have done them both ways.

If it is late or I am pressed for time, I will take the easy route and place them in a foiled pan in a low oven.  The will be fine.

Wrapping individually makes them a little softer, and generally they finish a little quicker.

Either way, they will be great.

Good luck!
