I am looking for, maybe a link that might be able to answer all the beginner basics. I figure that might be easier than posting a question every time I think of one.

Some questions like....
How long should I add wood chips for during smoking ( my smoker only has a little hopper which will only allow enough wood for maybe 45 min. Of smoke) and does ther come a point when the meet won't take any more smoke

Also, can you point me in the direction of various " fatty" recipes and how to smoke them. Personally, I had never heard of them until I saw pictures yesterday and I gotta tell you HOLY JESUS DO THEY LOOK DELICIOUS!! I never saw anything so sinfully good in 42 years of life!
Whoever came up with those things should be given the Nobel prize and a congressional metal of honor.

As a side note, I never thought I would find anything that I would get into as much as fireworks, but I think I just might have now. In fact I think they kinda go hand in hand.

Also, I hope I'm not beefing too much of a pain in the butt by asking questions that I'm sure you've answered a million times , and I apologize if I am. Sorry in advance. It's just that I do most of my web surfing on an iPhone so it can be a bit hard to rummage through all previous posts looking for answers when hopefully someone here doesn't mind dealing with a newbie. Again , sorry.

Well actually the easiest way to get answers to questions is by using the search bar at the top of the page. Just type something like "fatty" and it will give you hundreds of threads or posts that relate to what you're asking. If you post a question you might only get a few replies before it gets buried, sometimes it becomes quite popular and you will get a lot of responses but for instant results the search bar is your best friend.

For the basics and more I suggest you take Jeff's Free 5 day E-course:

So spending a few minutes reading through threads you searched for will save you hours sitting around waiting for a lot of responses.

I could not agree more with what Dave said. The search tool is your friend and the more familiar you get with it the faster you will learn.  I realize the iPhone can be a challenge. I use mine on a regular basis and I also use TapATalk with it which sometimes is easier

What Dave and Gary have said I agree with wholeheartedly, if the iPhone hinders you from searching or sorting, then you might find it easier to go to the section you are interested in learning more about, such as the Fatty Section. Hope this helps.

Welcome. Like they all said search button and 5 day E-course. Of course for fathers day you could have someone get you Jeffs new book.  When I started out I spent about 3 or 4 hours the first day on the site just searching and reading
