Running an MES 40. Modified for airflow for the amazen tray. Purchased Amazen pellets and got 12 hr smokes out of the ones purchased (phenomenal)
Bought some B&B at Academy, damn things keep going out after 1-1.5 hrs of use. Nothing different, same spot outside, same temp bla bla.
Did microwave them but didn't help. I guess I'll spend the premium on Amazen cause they were just that.

I've gotten some different pellets from a few sources and what amuses me is my best ones for consistency is actually the Pitboss brand at Walmart. Consistent smoke levels and burn times. You can get a 40 pound bag of them for like 15-20 bucks.

That said I heard Greenmountain Grilling <I think thats it> is -very- high quality and from what I've seen about 15-20 pounds for a 30 pound bag or so.
