AZ Smoker

Hi all,

I'm in NW Phoenix area. I camped out on Craig's List until I found a used smoker I liked. I picked up a Great Outdoors Smoky Mountain Series propane fired smoker. This weekend I am diving in with the first smokes...ribs today and jerky tomorrow. I am in the middle of the 3-2-1 on the ribs. We will see how they come out.

Hey azed, welcome and congrats on the new (to you) GOSM.
I lived out in AZ for a while, in Sierra Vista so only a couple hours away from where you are. Wasn't into smoking then, well smoking food anyway, but how the weather is most of the year I wish I had.

Good luck with the ribs and jerky, be sure to let us know how well it turns out.
