Axemen at 10 pm

anyone who loved the "most deadly catch" or "lobstermen", the discovery channel is at it again with a new series at 10 pm tonight. Axemen, it's about lumberjacks. I will be checking it out, thought I'd mention to those who might enjoy it too.

Good thing I have the dish and don't have to wait up until 10 for it to come on, it's on ten minutes. :) A lot of the guys on the show live not too far from me. I have a lot of friends who are friends with them, though I personally don't know any of them. I did see Melvin at a local bar friday night though.

saw it and it makes me appreciate the furniture i am sitting in . i work with electricity for a living and feel safer than watching those guys cut down 50 foot tall trees.

Yeah, no doubt. When i was a kid all we had for heat was a wood stove, so every summer we'd go up to a plot of land we owned on Mt. Hood and fall 3 or 4 trees and cut them up for firewood. That was bad enough on flat ground. I'd hate to do it every day and in the conditions they do. Much respect for those guys.
