I've checked it out due to the price.
I'm in a remote area of MN and back when it was Sprint the reception sucked.
Decided to stay with my very reliable cable based internet.
I can suspend my cable internet when we go south for the winter.

That sucks you have poor service and need to check alternatives. Utilities get this concept idea you are a captive market. Electric and Gas are supposedly regulated by the State and local.
When we lived in Seattle area the gas service was great, but electric sucked so bad I was forced into buying a generator. AT&T provided cable service and it was great and cheap.

We have Spectrum in Florida and it is very reliable. It is part of our apartment rent and we stream that service through Roku while in Minnesota. It is basic cable channels, Disney+, Paramount+, and Peacock.

Yes I have been with TMobile home internet for a little under 2 years. Absolutely love it. I had many, many problems with Spectrum/Charter. The never fixed their problem and kept increasing rates.
T Mob is $50/month no major outages. Every once in a long while things will "stick" and have to reboot the gateway. You have to do this with any provider. Make sure you are within their 5G footprint, the closer to a cell site the better.
...
At $50/month I assume you got an unlimited subscription.
Is there a caveat on the unlimited? Do you ever max out a monthly limit?
Friends have T-M and they recently moved.
Better reception at new place, but unlimited service not available on their tower.
They have to monitor their internet usage. T-M service is also spotty on their cell service.
That is another to watch before jumping ship

canceled my Spectrum account.
I cut the cord a couple years ago . Saved a bunch of money right off the bat . I have internet with Spectrum and use Youtube TV . Now both are back up almost to where I was before cutting the cord . I'm still 50 bucks less than what I was , but the service outages are getting really bad . No problems the last month or so , but you never know when it starts again . Well actually you do ,, as soon as something you really want to watch comes on .
My kids still live with me , and I'm good for at least 2 TV's on at the same time . Sometimes 3 , because I move room to room while I have something I'm watching . Plus tablets and phones , and the kids TV's . So , not sure what I'm going to do . I hate changing this stuff over . I need to get the better equipment and see what happens . I really not worried about the money , as long as it works . We split the internet 3 ways , then we have all the others like you . Prime , Hulu , all of them . I buy the seasons of some shows I like , got hooked on . Like that Damn Curse of Oak Island . Lol .

Its unlimited. We've had T-Mobile cell service for some time now, close to 10 years when counting time with their subsidiary Metro. That's not a concern for us.

Check the fine print on "unlimited". Our Spectrum cell is "unlimited" but there is a 20 gig cutoff. Wife has never hit the limit as she is is the heavy hitter.
I can log into SMF and not burn the data being I'm a paid member. I don't think I would make it a week as an unpaid member or looker. The videos really suck data and battery.

We switched cell and internet to T-Mobile a couple of years ago from Verizon and Spectrum. Went with the price lock plan which has now gone away, but we are grandfathered in as long as we don't make any changes to the plan. I got tired of the others raising rates on a regular basis and being retired on fixed income, that can hurt.

The internet works OK for us, not nearly as fast as cable, but we're satisfied...

I can look out my front door and see a cell tower. Google Maps says its 870 feet away.
I cancelled my Cox auto pay, that was set for tomorrow. And as soon as I get T-Mobile set up, I will cancel Cox completely. If T-Mobile doesn't work out, but I'm very sure it will, then I go AT&T optic.

and Cox may never get paid for this last month.

Never again.

All week , I've had internet in short periods, off and on, off and on .

If you have good 5G signal in your house it is definitely worth the free trial period. You could help yourself by placing the TMobile device near a window.

I don't know if you travel a lot or not, but one perk of the T Mobile I hadn't considered is that you could take the thing with you and have your home WiFi network wherever you go, if you wanted.

If T Mobile doesn't work out, I can't say enough good things about AT&T Fiber. We have had fiber since they day it was available in our neighborhood, around 2018 I think. We had the router in our house fail once, other than that it has been absolutely bulletproof.

I getting way too many outages with my current provider, Cox Communications. And it appears I can bundle T Mobile home internet with our cell service and cut my internet bill in half.

I'm just not sure about 5G for internet. Afraid of jumping from the frying pan to the fire .

We stream our TV and any buffering is a no go. But its just the wife and I, we rarely have two TV's going at same time, except for college football season when I get three TVs set up.

And we're not gamers.
I have 5G TMOBILE internet for a couple years now. I can stream on 3-4 tvs no problem. I am between San Antonio and Austin TX. So far it nly went down when the power went down also.

T moble 5g home is tied to your address. You cannot take it somewhere else without calling them and changing the address. I guess it GPS's your location. I know, I tried that already.

I'm 6 weeks in with TMobile, and so far, so good.

Have no problem streaming. And on college football Saturday's I have up to 4 tvs going with games.

I've had some very minor issues with losing connection for a few minutes, but it appears that was just getting the bugs worked out. Mrs Okie called TMobile and we've not had issues since.

Its a bit slower loading internet sites than my Cox connection. But once a site is loaded I see no diff in speed.

Because we're not tied down to locating the Gateway ( i.e. modem ) to where the cable enters the house, we've put it in a central location. Mrs Okie had trouble with Zoom meetings in her sewing room with Cox and that's no longer an issue. We get good wifi all through the house.

Very happy with the move, so far. I really like not having any cables or wires.
