I found a realtree brand stuffer on ebay that i might want to bid on says its al SS with all metal gears and is a 7lb stuffer. Any of you have one of these? Are they better than the northerd tools 5lb stuffer with plastic gears?
I would avoid it like the plague, they have an odd expensive o-ring and a huge elbow at the bottom.
There's nothing wrong with the Northern or Grizzly 5 lb. stuffers with the plastic gears, if you're careful.
If you're concerned about the plastic gears, LEM has a 5lber. with metal gears.
I like the 5lb stuffer from norther tool and its in my price range but i saw that the realtree has all metal gears but if its gonna be a pita to replace the oring then screw it. This will be my first purchase of sausage making tools so i don't want to start off in the wrong direction.
