I have been contemplating this for a couple of weeks, but I wasn't sure there would be enough interest? Do you own an El Cheapo Brinkmann? I have owned the Smoke N Grill Charcoal Smoker for about 15 years.

Let me know if you would be interested in an ECB Group.

had a ECB then bought a converter "electric insert" after useing it for two years i upgraded to a full blown electric smoker but that ECB taught me alot about smoking meat !

Lots of folks start with them but move up pretty quick if they enjoy the experience. After 15 years, you must be a expert on what is probably the toughest smoker to maintain temp on. This Group would be a good idea. You can give the tricks and techniques to the Newbies...JJ

Sure - just got mine in June and have done a ton of the mods to it for vents, charcoal pan,

lid gasket.... It's all good for us new guys. The more I can learn, the better! Thanks!
