Any Illinois Residents? Wednesday/Thursday Weather?

I'm just curious if anyone from Illinois can chime in on what any of your local stations are saying about the potential for severe weather on Thursday. My wife is going to be driving through from Indiana on 74 into Bloomington and then up 39 into Wisconsin. I saw weather.com has a pretty nasty outlook up for Thursday and was wondering what some of the locals to the area might be hearing from local weather outlets? Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From what I gather, Wednesday seems ok.  Thursday has "the potential for storms some possibly severe".

 Exactly where and what time of day is anybody's guess at the moment.   Nobody is committing to much of anything yet.  

I'm about an hour east of 39 and a half hour south of the IL/WI border.

My girlfriend lives in LaSalle @ 39&80.   I'll be video chatting her tonight and I'll ask her to check it out.  I shall report back.

Hey Trabba,

This is what I'm getting out of LaSalle Il as of this morning.

Weather reports from both the Quad Cities and Peoria are calling for storms tonight, then again tomorrow night with the most severe weather predicted for Thursday afternoon/early evening.  Looks like almost the entire state of Illinois is under a threat of severe storms on Thursday. Wednesday during the day looks dry.

Thanks again for the info, ernest. I saw the same thing on weather.com so I'm thinking if both are on the same page then a pretty good chance of it happening. We went ahead and moved travel up a day to go through on Wednesday instead just to be on the safe side. Stay safe if it gets bad!
