Amazon has the Maverick ET-73 on sale

Whoops, wrong thermometer. Jak757 posted the ET-73. Regarding my post below, doesn't the ET-73 normally sell for about $45?

I've been thinking of getting a Maverick -- keep reading good things about it. When looking at the one you linked to, I also noticed this one:

It says it's for smoking - one probe for smoker chamber, the other for meat. Anyone have input on which of these to go with?

Whoops, I totally screwed that first post up. I thought it was the ET-73 on sale, its actually the ET-7. The one you linked to is the ET-73. But doesn't the ET-73 normally sell for around $45? The ET-73 is even lower than the ET-7 I linked. Am I missing something or is this a really good deal?

I just bought one, it has 2 probes.

I've got the ET-73 and have been happy w/ it. The only negative is that it has a radius of 100 ft and I have a hard time getting the updates through walls. I leave it out on the kitchen counter now, set the high and low temps for the smoker, set the high temps for the meat and leave it alone. If I hear it beep, I know it's one of the 3 alarms set, so I gotta get up anyway. Plus, I'll give it a check should I have to get up for a beer or am going into the kitchen.
