I`ve built a few chicken pits over the years, but i want to see how YOU folks are building "your pit`s".
I`m putting a new permanent pit together out in my backyard just for chicken, so i need some new ideas.

Post them beautiful pictures!!!!

I couldn`t get my pictures to upload. My pit is nothing fancy, just concrete blocks, (8x8x16) it is 3 feet x 3 feet. I made my grates out of chrome wire shelving. Has 3/8 6 inch long fully threaded carriage bolts for handles on each end of the grates. I cut 4.5 inch long 3/8ths tubing to slide over the threaded bolts, and nutted, so that the handles would spin and help flip the grates.

I was hoping people would post some pictures of their pits for some ideas. I guess nobody is interested in sharing though.
