I want to install a gas burner into my smoke house, I have an old gas side burner from a gas grill that I had. I was looking at installing that into my plywood smokehouse, I wanted to just cut a hole in the bottom of the smoke house and set it in there. Does that sound like a bad Idea or not? I found a couple of threads on the afterburner products and many people said they are awesome and safe. Would I be ok just installing the gas burner I have from the old gas grill or would I be better off spending the money on one of those afterburners? The gas burner I have already has a tin bowl that the burner is mounted to, so it would be easy to just cut a hole and drop it in. What are your thoughts?
