Nice . I got mine as a floor model 2 years ago for $140.00 . Still haven't used it , but couldn't pass on that price .
Good price on yours too , whats the list price up to ? Was $249.00 when I bought mine .

When you put it together , the ash pan assembly goes first , then the legs . Most people want to put the legs on first , but there's a tab on the ash pan ring that needs to go in before the leg .

Colors are $309, basic black are currently $289. This will stay in the box for a while. I need to get the patio pressure washed and in order for the fall. I may put it together late December as my birthday present. Thanks for the tip, Rich. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the tip,
Mine was a floor model , so it was assembled . Check your directions , but this is what I'm talking about ,

Close up of the leg into the body . See the gap ?

That's so this tab can go in , then the leg . The tab fills the gap .
The hammer marks aren't from me , and the tongue wasn't even in place .
Had to take it apart and straighten it out .

Something else I do is cut a small wedges out of wood . Tap them in the leg attatchment ,
then snap them off . Really takes the wobble out of the grill if it's loose .

My town has a new and large Ace, and in the last few years I've been to similar stores in Montana and northern Wyoming. They all have the BBQ department right up front and have a nice selection of cookers, charcoal, wood chunks, pellets, rubs and sauces.

Yeah , it's a nice setup for sure . Great marketing .
If you use wood chips or chunks , look for Cigger creek brand . Based in Missouri , I think Macon .
The chips are perfect size for mixing with pellets in a tube . The apple chunks are branch cross cuts .

That fix for wobbly legs is great! I like that and will certainly keep it in mind. That wobble is exactly why I have a Performer and recently acquired Platypus. Thanks again Bud.

I am blessed to have four really nice ACE Hardware stores within a ten mile radius. For all things Weber I do business with them rather than Amazon. Someone always has what I want in stock.

Nice!

Westlakes - Ace - Hardware, here in central Missouri, has the greatest selection of BBQ/Smoking equipment/supporting items of any store around.

5 or 6 years ago during a remodel, I got in the habit of checking availability for items on the website for my Home Depot and Ace Hardware stores, then paying for them online. Sometimes, in less than 30 minutes I'll get a text message saying my order is at the service desk ready for pick-up.

Wow that is shiny! And Ace is the place....right? LOL The Ace's here have Recteq, blackstones, webers, eggs, etc....its very dangerous...One had a RT 1600...... and now I have a 1600....
That is cool! EDIT: the one up here has some RT grills...now im screwed.

Yep, I have one down the street. As you said, the bbq stuff is all up front, and I have to browse every time I go in, even though I don't "need" anything.

As others, got one down the street with all the fun stuff in front, right there. Ya gotta look, I mean the workers there took time to put the scene together, ya gotta look.

I say the same as Mike above said, I don't "need" but the "want" is strong!

Last time I was in Ace, went in for a wax ring, almost walked out with a Ooni Pizza oven. Now I want an Ooni and looking at their site.

Dave

Ace Hardware is like Dunkin Donuts around here, there's one on almost every corner.

Two of the stores near me have gigantic grill/BBQ display areas.
