My wife sent me a link to it and said she though it would be a good gift for Father’s Day but we didn’t pull the trigger on it. How are the workbooks and the community?

I got the all access pass, but that’s because I had already bought James Suckling’s Wine Tasting Class. Buying a second one it seemed logical to upgrade to all access. Hindsight I wish I had just bought the one class so I could keep it forever.

Anyways, I found the class to be amazing. As did my neighbor, he watched it with me. The only module I didn’t care for was grilling steak, but that’s not a big deal.

Each module is 30-40 minutes. Actual cooking modules there’s Pork Butt, Pork Ribs, steak, Brisket, bbq sauce. Brisket is 3 separate 30 minute modules. One is prep, trim/season, cook and cut. He goes in to incredible detail.

I smoked a pork butt on a gas grill with a Amaze smoke tray using Aaron’s methods and it came out delicious. My neighbor has an offset and told me it tasted better than his. Just goes to show you the cook and the attention to details go a loooooong way. I also did his ribs the same way, they were delicious.

The videos also taught me the new way I make bbq sauce — half bbq sauce and half apple cider vinegar.

All that said — he’s unapologetic in being central Texas style — heavy pepper, oak, and the only time sauce is used is on the ribs or pulled pork lightly and in that vinegar style.

I bought a pellet pooper and plan to try it on there...should be even better
