Went out today to pick peaches and found these guys.

I called animal control to get them removed and they said as long as they are not causing propety damage they won't remove them. I went out and picked my peaches and they just stayed inthe tree like I wasn't even there. This tree is only 15 feet from the house. Go figure.

Yea, I had the same issue last week, only those little ba$7@rds beat me to it. I have 1 white peach tree that makes the best jelly. I came home from work ready to harvest and every peach was gone. Not a single peach on the tree or even rotting on the ground. The shotgun is now handy by the door to protect the other trees.

We had to put our farm dog down this winter, so I'm sure she kept them away in the past. I'll have to get another dog before peach season next year.

How good a shot are you ? Just tell the city that their getting in your garbage and they would come out then. I just tell my son and he's get ride of them by way of smith and westin. I have ate some in texas it taste like chicken.

Well, being a suburbanite I can't just go around shooting them. Jhonny law would get offended. GWF I wonder if this is what happened to me last year, went to work one day with a tree full, came home and like you said ALL gone, even the ones on the ground. But somehow I think it was two legged criters takin them. All the grass around the tree was beat down after they were taken. I even had my trail cam in the window to catch the thiefs this year.

I wish I had those critters as a problem...I have skunks getting into my chicken coop. I live trapped one and was able to kill it without it spraying. I would set a live trap and then either take them out and let them go or shoot them...when you let them go. I cant exactly shoot in town either so to kill the skunk I wrapped the trap in a blue tarp and duct taped closed...with a shop vac hose hangin out then pluged the other end of the hose to the tailpipe of my truck...it worked great.

Glad they don't mess with the garbage around here, they get into the compost once in a while but not a problem.
Stray cats though, they keep tearing into the trash they will find themselves taking a trip to the SPCA.

Had a armadillo tearing up landscape in south missouri once. Went to the local bait shop and asked for dillo grubs. The clerk could not help but ask and I told him grubs that will catch armadillo. He laughed and sent me with some wax grubs. The live trap had a dillo in it the next morning.

They like apricots too. I didn't mind them taking a bit of fruit but why on earth they had to rip up all the water plants around my pond every single time they visited I'll never know. They got the Koi the first time round and after that the pond was always empty. Still they had to rip everything up.

One large one wandered into the living room one night and the Huskey and it had a huge fight. The coon lost big time. After that night I haven't seen one around the place.

They were well fed youngsters.

Had to put down a ground hog this week.Couple Rabbits might take the high powered pellet...

Currently have a well fed mature racoon reaking havoc...
