The wife bought me a MES 30 from sears. The model number us 20071013. What should I expect from this model number. Glass, no glass, black, silver, 800w, 1200w. New model or old model. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey...see you just joined today so welcome to the fray. I looked up that model for you just for grins. Seems to be old generation Mes as expected but a nice gift none the less. http://www.sears.com/masterbuilt-30inch-electrical-digital-smoker/p-07115661000P  I would strongly suggest you look up 'MES 30 tips' or some such search on our handy dandy search bar above for lotz of valuable info from other members on the in's & out's of your new gift. Understand, your butt is now on the line to be producing some very decent chow for the wifey after she's popped for this unit as a gift <grin>. So, get your seasoning tips all lined up and what you wanna smoke first for the break-in...usually something forgiving like chicken quarters or a smaller pork butt. Lots of help here, just ask, but the search bar is awesome for info.......Willie
